Top Students Celebrated for Academic Excellence by the Johns Hopkins Center for Talented Youth

Quad Prep Upper School students Peter, Hugo, and Leo have been honored as three of the brightest students in the world by the Johns Hopkins Center for Talented Youth.

Peter, Hugo, and Leo, students at The Quad Preparatory School in Manhattan, NY were given grand honors for exceptional performance on the School and College Ability Test, taken as part of the CTY Talent Search. CTY uses above-grade-level testing to identify advanced students from around the world and provide a clear picture of their academic abilities.

Each year, about 16,000 students from more than 75 countries join CTY. On average, less than 30 percent of students who join CTY qualify for either high or grand honors based on their test scores.

Peter, Leo, and Hugo have also earned access to CTY’s rigorous, hands-on, day, residential, and online courses, which are offered in a range of subjects including History and Social Science, Language Arts, Mathematics, Robotics and Technology, and Science and Engineering.
