After School Program
Engagement and support for our 2e students don’t end at the close of the school day. Through enriching activities, peer engagement, and additional learning opportunities, our After School Program is a direct extension of the transformative Quad Prep educational experience for gifted and talented young people.
The After School Experience
Quad Prep’s After School Program is optional and available to all of our currently enrolled Quad Prep twice-exceptional students in grades K-12, with separate programming for grades K-5 and 6-12. Expert members of our Quad Prep team carefully curate the program each year to give students diverse and engaging extracurricular opportunities to explore passions, connect with peers, and continue their studies after the school day ends. A program fee applies.
Benefits of After School for Twice-Exceptional Learners
Consistent, trusted, and predictable support
The specific support our 2e students receive during their school day carries over when the school day ends.
Connecting with peers
At Quad Prep, we emphasize belonging. This is important for all students, and especially those students who may not have experienced it before. By connecting with peers who share similar passions, friendships and belonging can bloom. The perfect complement to our social-emotional learning (SEL) approach to teaching these gifted students.
Skill-building & passion discovery
Come for the exciting programs, stay for the possibility to discover something new. This is a safe space to both indulge existing interests and discover new ones.
